Registered Psychotherapist #12345
Hello, my name is Hannah, and I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) at The Voice of Hope Counselling and Wellness Centre. I hold a degree in Social Psychology with a specialization in Mental Health and Addictions from McMaster University. My clinical work is further enriched by several years of volunteer experience in the Eating Disorder Unit at Ontario Shores Centre for Mental Health Sciences, where I gained a deep appreciation for the complexity of mental health challenges.
I believe that healing begins in environments where individuals feel safe, seen, and heard—and this is the type of space I am committed to creating for every client. I work with youth, teens, and adults who may be navigating concerns such as anxiety, depression, grief, low self-esteem, or relationship difficulties.
My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and guided by curiosity and respect for each person’s unique story. I value learning from my clients, as this not only deepens my understanding of their experiences but also enhances my ability to support them effectively.
I draw upon evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), and mindfulness-informed practices to help clients build self-awareness and develop practical tools for meaningful change.
For as long as I can remember, I have been passionate about supporting others through life’s challenges. Whether you are working through a difficult season or pursuing personal growth, I would be honoured to walk alongside you on your journey toward healing and authenticity.
